As we continue to grow here at the vineyard, we are currently on the lookout for great people to add to our wonderful team and contribute to the Chilworth Manor Experience. Sound interesting? Please have a read of our current vacancies below and get in touch should you be interested:
1) Event Lead
Chilworth Manor Vineyard is looking for an Event Lead to help us create outstanding experiences for our guests, from community vineyard events to high-end hospitality. If you're passionate about and have experience in running events, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, this could be the perfect role for you!
The role is 4 days per week + weekend commitments. Candidates should be highly organised, pro-active and have a proven track record of planning events in/or hospitality.
If you would like more information and a full job specification on this role, please contact info@chilworthmanorvineyard.com referencing “Event Lead” in the subject.
2) Part-time staff: Car Park Captain😊
We are on the lookout for a Car Park Captain and other casual staff. This will be for 10-12 key events taking place throughout the year such as Picnic & Pinks and the Wine Festival.
To ensure guests have a great experience from start to finish, we are looking for someone to assist at these events in key areas such as car parking. Ideal candidates would be local, personable, and approach each task with efficiency and a positive attitude.
If you would like to submit your interest, please email info@chilworthmanorvineyard.com referencing “Car Park Captain” in the subject.
3) Seasonal Vineyard Volunteers
Interested in occasional Seasonal Volunteer Vineyard work? Here at Chilworth, we are very fortunate in having an ever-increasing pool of wonderful volunteers signing up to help with our harvests.
We have also now had a significant number of enquiries from those who are interested in volunteering at other times during the season, for instance helping to manage the vine canopy when all hands-on deck is the order of the day!
This could be from leaf stripping to tucking in wayward shoots, moving the catchwires to hold the canopy in place or removing unwanted suckering growth. All of which contribute enormously to the wellbeing of the vines and the quality of the grapes we can produce.
We’d love to know if you are interested, and we can then work out how best to organise our Chilworth Heros!
