All of the grapes that go into our vintage wines are grown on our 10 acre vineyard. Our drive is to produce quality rather than quantity, reflecting all that Chilworth Manor embodies. We produced our first wine from the 2016 harvest and introduced it as our "First Step" Rosé to the local community in the gardens of Chilworth Manor during the summer months of 2017.
We brought our first wine to market at the end of May in 2017 and sold out in a few weeks. We are looking forward with great excitement to our 2018 Rosé after perfect wine making weather in the Spring and Summer of 2018.
We expect to introduce our first quality Sparkling Wine in 2020/21
Chilworth Manor Rosé 2017 - SOLD OUT
We are very sorry but demand for our first release of Chilworth Manor Rosé was very high and we regret to say we are now SOLD OUT of our 2017 vintage.
If you are interested in buying next year’s wine, please subscribe to our mailing list which will give you the ability to pre-order sales – as well as to keep up to date with the progress of this year’s harvest.
Chilworth Manor Rosé 2017 is a Provence style rosé with a taste of strawberries and other fresh red berries. It is made from Pinot Meunier (55%) and Pinot Noir (45%) grapes, all handpicked in 2017, our first full harvest.
In keeping with the spirit of Chilworth Manor, every bottle sold allowed for a donation to Mary's Meals providing a daily meal for a week to a child in a Malawi school.
