By car
You can reach Chilworth Manor Vineyard from either Halfpenny Lane or Blacksmith Lane in Chilworth.
- Via Halfpenny Lane: please take care, as Halfpenny Lane is narrow with limited passing places.
- Via Blacksmith Lane: from Chilworth village, follow Blacksmith Lane to the entrance of the Chilworth Manor drive.
Once you've turned into the drive, follow it until you see the Manor House on your left. Keep right and follow the track on the right-hand side down to the vineyard. Continue down the track past the Cellar Door, then park in front of the Watch House, our tasting barn.
By taxi
We recommend GM Cars, a local Guildford firm that runs 24 hours a day. There's no taxi rank at Chilworth station, so please book ahead, especially for your return journey.
- Phone: 01483 566566
- Website: gmcarstaxis.com (you can also book online or through the GM Cars app)
The journey from Guildford station takes around 10 minutes.
By train
For the most convenient journey, we recommend traveling via Guildford Station. From here, you can choose between a fast taxi transfer or a local rail connection to our nearest walking stop at Chilworth.
-
Via Guildford Station:
Direct, high-frequency services run from London Waterloo to Guildford (taking just 35–40 minutes). Upon arrival, the vineyard is a short 10-minute taxi ride away.
-
Via Chilworth Station (Our Local Stop):
Situated on the North Downs line (between Reading and Gatwick Airport), Chilworth offers direct local services as well as quick connections from Guildford.
If you choose Chilworth as your rail destination, a pleasant 15-minute stroll from the station to our vineyard awaits.
We recommend planning your journey in advance with National Rail.
By bus
Bus 32 (Guildford to Redhill, run by Compass Bus) stops in Chilworth at Chilworth Railway Station and by Chilworth Village Hall on New Road. It takes around 15 minutes from Guildford Friary Bus Station and runs roughly hourly, Monday to Saturday. Please keep in mind that there is no Sunday service.
