PLEASE NOTE BOOKINGS ARE PER PERSON

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Chilworth Manor Vineyard. The next Volunteer Days have now been set as follows:

GREEN HARVEST - Wednesday 1st September

·       We will be removing excess fruit, secondary flowers or unformed bunches from the vines to ensure that the remainder can ripen fully.

LEAF STRIPPING - Wednesday 10th and Friday 12th September

We will be removing leaves from the fruit area of the vine to promote air flow and sunlight reaching the grape bunches.

HARVEST - Dates TBD

We will start at 8.45 am sharp and expect to finish mid to late afternoon. We will give you a Health & Safety briefing and a quick demo and will then start picking straight away, so please arrive on time. We will provide gloves for you to use throughout the day but in the interest on reducing waste, please bring gardening gloves if you have your own. 

Please come appropriately dressed for work in the outdoors, bring your water bottle, wear sturdy shoes and don’t forget your waterproofs. 

Parking is available in the vineyard, along the track when you drive in.

We really appreciate you giving up your time to help us. Sometimes plans change though. We would appreciate it if you could cancel your booking if you can no longer attend. This way we can offer the place to someone else. Thank you for your co-operation with this!
