Buying a Christmas Tree has always been a special day at Chilworth Manor, even before the siblings started selling trees from the drive in 2010. Since those early days the event has changed a little every year, but we have always wanted it to be as memorable as possible and a real addition to the Christmas preparations. Now, after all these years, we have found that the space by the house is getting too crowded.
To give you more time and space to choose the perfect tree — and maybe even catch up with friends and family — this year we will be hosting our Christmas Tree sales in the vineyard. There, you’ll find plenty of parking and room to wander, whilst still enjoying a complimentary glass of Glögg or hot chocolate on arrival. There will also be an undercover pop-up bar selling Chilworth Manor wines by the glass and bottle. Our festive gift collection will be on display and festive bakes and sausage rolls are available from local barista, MochaTado.
We are open from 10 am till 4 pm during the weekends of 30 November and 1 December and 7-8 December. In order to be able to help you pick your perfect tree, we will be running a booking system. No need to book a slot for every person that is picking a tree, just book a slot per family :) You are welcome to stay beyond your time slot to relax and enjoy what we have on offer.
Parking is available in the vineyard, along the track when you drive in.
Our trees are all Nordman Fir trees. We offer the following sizes:
