Chilworth Manor Rosé 2023

Our Provence style Rose is made from gently pressed Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes, handpicked from our vineyard nestled in the beautiful Surrey Hills. This year’s vintage is beautifully pale, with aromas of rhubarb and juicy strawberry. The taste is fresh and lightly fruity … think red berries and rhubarb crumble.

In keeping with the spirit of Chilworth Manor, we support Mary's Meals who provide one good meal per school day to some of the poorest children in Malawi schools.

The memorable 2023 growing season had its roots in the great conditions at flowering the previous year. Spring and budburst arrived with minimal frost and we only had to deploy the Frost Protection system a couple of times. The abundant sunshine and warmth in May and June led to an ideal period of flowering and fruit set. With the introduction of our Fertigation System (dripline running parallel with our Frost Protection spray), we were able to deliver specific nutrients direct to the crop’s roots when and where needed and on a row by row basis.

Veraison and ripening proved to be a more protracted affair than expected (possibly an effect of the colder July), although it did mean that we were able to harvest selectively throughout October and provide our winemaker with beautifully sweet, clean and juice-filled grapes.

Delivery will be charged per Order as follows

£6.50 for 1 bottle

£8.50 for 2 bottles

£15 for 3 - 12 bottles

FREE for 13 bottles and more

We will deliver the goods to you as soon as reasonably possible and usually within 2-5 working days after the day on which we accept your Order. Such timescale remains dependent on availability of the Products and the delivery address.

Please note we are currently only delivering to mainland UK addresses. The delivery charge quoted above is applicable to UK mainland only and exclude the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and the Channel Islands. If you require delivery to the Highlands or Islands, this can be arranged but the costs will be substantially higher. Please contact us to arrange a quote before placing your Order.

Collection is available on Thursday or Friday between 1 - 4 pm. If you select this option, please bring your proof of purchase with you (or take a note of your order number).  When entering the drive to Chilworth Manor, please pass the house on your left and follow the road signed to the vineyard towards the right. The Cellar Door is in the first building at the bottom of the vineyard.
