Tour & Tastings
The five “Vineyards of the Surrey Hills” invite you to come and visit them to celebrate the formation of a new English wine region, offering outstanding wines, beautiful views and a warm welcome. There are a range of different activities at each vineyard during this "Sparkling Launch Weekend" on 8 - 9 June.
We will offer a unique opportunity to visit both the vineyard and the gardens of Chilworth Manor. The vineyard will be open for from 12 noon to 5 pm with tours at 12 noon and 2.30 pm each giving more information about the vines we grow and the vineyard in general. The tour includes tastings of our 2018 harvest Rosé as well as some of the wines from the other vineyards in the Surrey Hills.
Entry to the vineyard is free, but the tours (£20 pp) will have to be pre-booked here.
The garden of Chilworth Manor will be open for exploring from 12 noon to 5 pm. The history of Chilworth Manor will come to life in scenes performed by the Wonersh Players at 2, 3 and 4 pm in the garden and will give you an insight in life at the Manor and its owners during the last 1,000 years. The National Garden Scheme will benefit from the the garden entrance proceeds. There will be some savoury snacks as well as coffee, tea and ice-creams - feel free to bring your own picnic!
Entry to the gardens is available on the day (£6 pp). Children are free and entry is also free to those that have booked a tour.
Our 2018 harvest Rosé will be available to buy and taste from the garden as well as the vineyard.
Why not immerse yourself in the history of Chilworth Manor whilst enjoying our Rosé by the glass or bottle.
